We have identified a total of 12 SDGs by analyzing our core thematic areas of work, which encompass Carbon Neutrality, Circular Economy, Diversity & Inclusion, and Responsible Supply Chain Management. The key endeavors in adherence to the principles of the UN sustainable development goals are as follows: Climate Resilience Agricultural support and food welfare programs: GSEZ implemented this initiative, which was executed within the SFIK Concession and JBG Concession, with a primary focus on SDG 2 Zero Hunger. The objective was to establish zero hunger across four villages in the region with a total investment of EUR 1,972. Community environmental management and conservation: GSEZ implemented a program for community environmental management and conservation within villages of Gabon, which are SFIK, GAW, BORDAMUR, and JBG concessions. The primary objective was to enhance awareness and foster a greater sense of environmental consciousness, reaching 319 individuals, focusing specifically on SDG 15 Life on Land. Environmental Day: GDIZ commemorated Environmental Day for the employees and communities in Agbodjèdo, with a total donation of EUR 946. The event aimed to enhance environmental awareness to not just GDIZ employees but also individuals from the neighboring communities, in line with the principles of SDG 15.
