102 Fostering Sustainable Ecosystems About the Report Leadership Messages About the Theme Corporate Overview Stakeholder Engagement and Materiality Assessment Our ESG priorities and Performance Health and Education Blood Donation Campaigns: GDIZ organized a blood donation camp in Tangbo to support communities through the Foundation Claudine Talon and Agence Nationale pour la Transfusion Sanguine (ANTS). A contribution of EUR 157 was made towards this campaign. Pink October: In a dedicated effort to promote health awareness, GDIZ implemented an awareness session with spend of EUR 552, focusing on raising awareness about breast cancer among GDIZ users. This campaign sparked meaningful conversations around Breast Cancer and reflects our commitment to overall health and wellness. Raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies at CEG Tangbo: In collaborative effort with Centre Amis des Adolescents d’Allada (CAAD), awareness Day was organized across the GDIZ on World HIV/AIDS Day. We had the pleasure of hosting a rich panel with a renowned psychologist who was dedicated to promoting knowledge about safe sexual practices. Health support programs: A complimentary screening program offered by ophthalmologists for 6 months in Togo and Gabon. The program was aimed at identifying eye diseases and providing surgical intervention or glasses, as required. A donation of EUR 42,540 was made to support residents in preserving their vision and ensuring access to essential eye care services in accordance with SDG 3. Gender mainstreaming programs: In our commitment to fostering gender equality, focused on gender mainstreaming programs SDG 5 within the GAW concession. A sum of EUR 473 was contributed to back this endeavor and spread awareness among a total of fourteen villages of GSEZ.
