By sponsoring the second edition of this event, PIA demonstrated its dedication to advancing alongside society. Moreover, it showcased PIA’s strong desire to enhance the health, fitness, and overall well-being of the community it serves, aligning with the objectives of SDG 3 and SDG 4. The sponsorship for this endeavor amounted to EUR 1,356 resulting in a positive impact on over 350 students. Participation in the ‘AYIZOXWE_2023’ cultural festival: In a celebration of cultural diversity and community engagement, GDIZ actively participated in the AYIZOXWE cultural festival during the 2023 edition. This vibrant initiative, situated in the Atlantic Department, was a collaborative effort between GDIZ and the Association for the promotion of the cultural heritage of the AYIZOR, aiming to promote and safeguard the rich heritage of the Aïzo cultural area. This endeavor exemplifies our dedication to nurturing and preserving the essence of local culture, in alignment with SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities. A sum of EUR 739 was donated to support the initiative. Marathon Du Gabon: The Marathon du Gabon’s 9th edition was held at the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ), attracting a total of over 18,000 participants. GSEZ not only motivated its staff to join by offering training sessions with a qualified coach but also sponsored the registration of employees’ family members. Various categories were arranged, including Junior 1.5KM for both girls and boys, Junior 3 KM for girls and boys, La Gabonaise (5KM), 10 KM races for women and men, a half marathon, and the full marathon.
