To ensure improved agricultural inputs and profits to farmers, we provide certified seeds, bio-stimulants, and efforts for farmmechanization. In fact, we also educate the farmers on trends and evolving efforts, to ensure soybean cultivation yields the premium it is targeted to, over other cash crops grown in the region, maintaining farmer welfare. Further, we are striving for higher profitability for farmers in soybean cultivation value chains, by setting up physical collection centers where the harvest is brought directly by farmers. Currently, 12 such centers have been set up, providing robust support to our farmers. In the reporting period, 3,18,486 metric tons of soya bean has been procured and processed. This includes organic and conventional soybean. Over 2,75,717 metric tons of soya bean procured is conventional while 42,769 metric tons is organic. Agricultural Value Chains: Benin and Togo Special Economic Zones At Benin and Togo SEZs, Arise IIP has large value chains for agricultural crops such as raw cashew nut, soybean, and cotton, among others. In Benin, we have a target to ensure that 1,50,000 MT of raw cashew nuts are processed by 2026. GDIZ continues its journey in creating a virtuous ecosystem to promote the establishment of local businesses as well as direct investments from abroad to Benin, thus supporting the uninterrupted supply of raw materials and facilitating the export and local distribution of high value-added products. In the reporting period, we have processed 16,405 metric tons of raw cashew nut.
