To prevent and mitigate occupational health and safety impacts directly linked by business relationships, we have obtained sufficient consent to operate, conducted social impact assessments and developed risk matrices. To help our employees and workers stay healthy and mitigate risks, we provide health and safety services to promote worker health. These services include on-site first-aid, dispensary, medical aid and ambulance. These services are led by our trained Emergency Response Team (ERT) in support of qualified on-site nurses and OHS doctors. Health and Safety Training Training is a crucial part of ensuring the health and safety of our workforce. To make training effective, we have integrated training into regular job practices, education and performance requirements. We have crafted health and safety training programs by analyzing our work sites, the types of actual hazards and potential hazards present. Worker training programs are designed in a way that ensures all workers understand the hazards they may be exposed to, and the proper methods to avoid them. Supervisors are also trained to understand their key role in ensuring site safety and effectively carrying out their safety and health responsibilities. After conducting a thorough need assessment, we have developed a new strategy (Critical 6) where all activity metrics for the critical tasks are being reviewed, and new improved controls are proposed and implemented to reduce the risk factors. We have developed training programs for health and safety managers, business leaders, workforce, contractors’ construction teams and operations and maintenance teams to support the full implementation of the controls for Critical 6.
