As a business-to-consumer model, we undertake a range of systematic efforts to address health and safety across the entire life cycle of our products and services. Recently, our operations at GDIZ, Benin have started conducting food quality and safety assessments, as part of our efforts to maintain high standards. We are proud to say that our operations in Benin and Chad are certified by HACCP and BRC GS. Our goal is to develop and implement an ISO 9001-certified quality management system in our operations initiating from the newly established factories. We also ensure that we use the highest standards for our packaging materials to extend our commitment to customer health and safety. Our Benin cashew processing operations have obtained certificates of quality standards for packaging and labelling, including GFSI, laboratory analysis of packaging materials such as migration tests, MOSH/MOAH tests, and food grade certificates. Our consistent efforts to maintain the highest standards of quality have resulted in zero forced or voluntary product recalls. The protection of health and safety is a recognized goal of many national and international regulations. Our customers expect us to provide them with the highest quality products that do not pose a risk to their health and safety. Customers have the right to non-hazardous products, and they also have the right to seek redress if their health and safety are affected. Fortunately, our operations have had no reports of noncompliance with regulations or voluntary codes on health and safety. We are proud to say that our operations in Benin and Chad are certified by HACCP and BRC GS.
