As a company committed to promoting Africa’s natural resources, we understand that ensuring access to clean water is essential, not only for our operations but also for our stakeholders and local communities. We recognize the need to balance water requirements of both our business and the surrounding populations. Hence, we manage shared water resources with utmost care and responsibility to avoid conflicts that could hinder long-term sustainability. Our projects demonstrate strong green building credentials through various energy and resource efficiency measures, with a particular emphasis on water conservation. In Benin, we were awarded the EDGE Advanced Certificate for the Benin Cashew Project. This resulted in annual water savings of 16,673.97 KL in our EDGE certified buildings, showcasing our commitment to sustainable industrial practices. Water Stewardship Our water withdrawal in CY 2024 stood at 365,512 KL as compared to last year’s withdrawal of 370,989 KL
